120 US$ Million from countries for helping Earthquake's victims

Total US$ 120 million has been received by Indonesia's government from other countries to rebuild damaged site that caused by Earthquake and to help Earthquake's victims. US$ 55 million from bilateral relationship and US$ 65 million from multilateral relationship. The detail for realizaton will be discuss with that countries.

Besides money, Indonesia has got many form of help from others. Medical teams, drugs, Search and Rescue Team, volunteers, foods, tents, etc, has been flowing down to Yogyakarta, and other site that got damaged by Earthquake. And still another wave of help will coming.

Victims and the people there hope that their place could be rebuild again. And they can have houses again ( thousands of houses destroyed flat to the ground ).

US$ 120 million is not a lot but not bad either. I hope that the money is spent in the right way. At this moment giving this people shelter is the most important thing.
